TODAY WAS GREAT DAY TO GET OUT OF NORMAL EVERYDAY ROUTINE. ALHUMDULILLAH MUSLIM IS BLESSING. THE DAY WAS WITH PAKISTAN (DIFFERENT) CITIES, SERIAN, AFRICAN AND INDIAN BROTHERS. BUT SEEMS TO BE LIKE FAMILY. SAW THE BABAE XIESHI UNIVERSITY, THE CAMPUS LOOKS PRETY OLD BUT ACTUALLY RESERVED AS OLD, SEEMS SOME BRITISH MADE THAT, AS LAHORE PUNJAB UNIVERSITY ALSO SEEMS SAME. BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS STUDENTS CAPACITY. HERE IN XIESHI TAMEN ABOUT 0.1 MILLION STUDENTS ARE STUDING WHICH IS LIKE A WHOLE CITY. SOME CHINESE GOOD NATURE GIRLS ALSO JOIN THE GATHERING (AS IN MUSLIM GATHERING THERE IS NO BEAR, SEX AND VOLGUR COMPARING TO CHINESE AND SPECIALLY WESTERN). ANYHOW NOW WE ALL WAS GUESTS OF BROTHER RASHWAND,  AND WE CONVINCED HIM TO PLACE ORDER ATLEAST HIMSELF. WE EAT REALLY GOOD, AND TIME TO TIME HE KEEP ASKING FOR ANYTHING MORE…HE SAID EAT GOOD AS YOU LOVE ME GOOD. THE MUSLIM RESTURANT PEOPLE WAS ALSO VERY GOOD AND HAPPY, FROM EVERY WHERE IT WAS ALL ABOUT HAPPINESS RATHER THAN BUSINESS AND MONEY AS IN CHINA ITS FIRST, AS MONEY IS THEIR FIRST HAPPINESS.

AT BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY MORNING WHEN I OPEN THE CURTAINS OF MY ROOM, A BEAUTIFUL RAINING I SAW AFTER MANY DAYS IN LAHORE. WHILE I WAS JUST GOING TO TAKE SUNDAY MY FAVORITE BREAK-FAST "PURI HALWA" MY SIS TOLD ME JUST NOW SHE GOT THE CALL FROM COUSINS FOR A TRIP TO MANGLA DAM IN "AZAD KASHMIR AREA NEAR MIR PUR". BUT I HAD NO PLAN UNTIL MY BROTHER COUSIN FAISAL BAHI CONVINCE ME TO GO WITH THEM. SO A GREAT TOUR OF MANGLA DAM.

I ENJOYED THE TOUR BEST BY MY STYLE WITH READING, WALKING, LITTLE HIKING AND THE BEST WAS BOATING IN THE DAM, AND IT WAS DAM COOL ENJOYMENT!!

WHEN THE MORNING’S FRESHNESS HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE WEARINESS OF MIDDAY, WHEN THE LEGS MUSCLES QUIVER UNDER THE STRAIN , THE CLIMB SEEMS ENDLESS, AND, SUDDENLY, NOTHING WILL GO QUITE AS YOU WISH — IT IS THEN THAT YOU MUST NOT HESITATE.

FOR TAKING ON RENT, JUST IN THOSE DAYS ON FRIDAY 30TH MAY 08 WHEN I ALSO DONE THE HOLIDAY FROM OFFICE AND WORK AFTER LONG TIME, I GOT MEETING WITH KHURRAM (BROTHER # 1, I ALWAYS SAY TO HIM), HE UNDERSTOOD THE SITUATION LIKE ALWAYS AND ALSO WILLING FOR THE SAME PLAN BUT FOR ONE WEEK. HE RECOMMEND ME THE HOTEL IN "DONGA GALI (MOUNTAIN NEAR TO NETHIA GALI)", HE SAID ITS NOT THE HOTEL ITS MORE THAN THE HOTEL AND THAT’S THE PLACE TO RELAX REALLY AND I AM SURE YOU WILL LIKE THAT. HE SAID FROM MORE THAN 20 YEARS HE ALWAYS STAY THERE WHEN HE COMES WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS.

SO I DONE THE PLAN FOR URGENT DEPARTURE ON 01 JUNE 08 (MY BIRTH DATE), I CANNOT STAY MORE IN BRUTAL SUNSHINE IN LAHORE WITH NO ELECTRICITY MOST OF TIME. HE TOOK THE ONE DAY FOR HIS FINAL URGENT DECISION AS WE WAS GOING WITH OUR WIVES. SO ON 31MAY08 THE PLAN HIT BY KHURRAM FOR CONFIRM DEPARTURE ON 01 JUNE SUNDAY EARLY MORNING. SO NOW URGENTLY I HAVE TO MAKE MY CAR IN ORDER, WE BOTH BROTHERS GO TOGETHER FOR CAR WORKS AND IMAGINE WHEN I FINISH, @ 4 AM NEXT MORNING. ABOUT 8 PM I SEND KHURRAM BACK TO HOME THAT AT-LEAST ONE PERSON SHOULD SLEEP FOR DRIVING TOMORROW. AFTER THAT I ATTENDED THE AQEEL SISTER MARRIAGE FOR WHICH MALIK (YAQOOB) CAME SPECIALLY FROM SAHIWAL. MALIK DONE WHAT NOT EVERYONE CAN DO, HE STAYED WITH ME AND HELP ME LOT WITH HIS BROTHER FOR MY CAR WORKS THAT MY PLAN CAN GET FULFILL. EVEN ONE TIME HE GAVE THE SCREW DRIVER TO HIS YOUNGER BROTHER FOR WORK ON CAR NUMBER PLATE. I AM VERY THANKFUL TO MALIK THAT’S MORE THAN FRIENDSHIP! I AM ALSO THANKFUL TO SHELL PUMP NEAR EXPO CENTER WHO WOKE UP SPECIALLY FOR ME TO CHANGE OILS AND CAR WORKS ETC

ANYHOW AFTER ALL THE WORKS DONE AND I GOT SATISFY FOR LONG DRIVE MALIK WITH IS BROTHER MOVE TO SAHIWAL, I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR STAYING ALL THE TIME WITH ME TO FULFILL MY DESIRE OF REST, AGAIN THAT’S MORE THAN THE FRIENDSHIP. WHILE ME AND MALIK WAS TOGETHER WE TALKED A LOT ABOUT OLD TIMES AND MANY OTHER THINGS SPECIALLY HIS AND GAPO (GHANZAFAR) NEW BABY BORN.

ON 1ST JUNE I DIDN’T WOKE UP! AS I NOT SLEPT, AT FAJAR PRAYER I CALL BROTHER#1 TO BE READY FOR TOUR. AND SOON AFTER BREAKFAST IN BROTHER # 1 HOME, WE WITH FAMILY IN ONE CAR DRIVING ON MOTOR WAY (GREAT GIFT OF PRIME MINISTER NAWAZ SHARIF) OFCOURSE KHURRAM WAS DRIVING AND I DOING REST. HAPPILY AND WITH FULL OF FUN WE REACHED IN ABOUT 10 HOURS TO TOTALLY DIFFERENT PLACE "DONGA GALI — MUKSHPURI HOTEL". IN THE WAY I RECEIVE BIRTHDAY MESSAGES AND CALL SPECIALLY FROM MUDASSER KHAN HE WISH ME BIRTHDAY AND VALUABLE TIPS FOR HASNAZHAR.COM, AND HE WAS ALSO HAPPY FOR MY TOUR AND MISSING HIS PRESENCE. LATER WHEN I REACH TO HOTEL, IT WAS JUST MORE THAN MY IMAGINATION AND I GAVE 10/10 MARKS FOR IT TO KHURRAM AND ALSO CALL SAME TIME TO MUDASSER KHAN, THE HOTEL REALLY IS NOT HOTEL IT WAS LIKE HEAVEN IN MY EYES AS WHEN I COMING FROM STRESS, POLLUTION, NOISES AND BRUTAL HEAT OF LAHORE WHICH GETTING CRAZY ON MIND AND BODY.

               

HERE THE FIRST THING I WANT TO DO IS SPEND MY LIFE HERE. THE HOTEL WAS DEVELOP IN 1880’S AND ITS IN THE MUKSHPURI MOUNTAIN A SPECIAL WAY GOES THEIR, SO THE HOTEL IS HIDDEN FROM ANY SORT OF NOISES AND YES PEOPLE, ITS ALSO LIKE INSIDE THE ‘MOUNTAIN JUNGLE’ SO YOU SEE ANIMALS SPECIALLY MONKEYS A LOT THERE. WHEN WE CAME WE ALSO SAW MANY FORUNERS THERE TOO. THE HOTEL SLOGAN IS "PEACE IN THE BLUE PINES". UNLIKE OTHER NEW AND MANY HOTELS THEY NOT SEEMS TO GIVE JUST ROOM TO GUESTS, THEY SEEMS JUST RUNNING THE HOTEL TO PRESENT PEACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT TO THEIR GUESTS. I LOVE THAT PLACE.

AFTER GETTING THE PEACEFUL AIR I DONE THE LITTLE NAP, AND WHEN I WOKE UP THERE WAS FULL PLAN OF BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FROM ME FROM KHURRAM. SO ON THE TOP OF PAKISTAN IT WAS GOOD TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY! HE NOT ONLY TOOK CAKE BUT ALSO CANDELS, ‘SAMOOSAS & JELEBI’ (LOCAL PUNJABI DISH VERY TASTY). AS I TOLD MY FIRST AND PLAN WAS TO SPEND AS LONG TIME IN HOTEL AND ENJOY MY LIBRARY, YES I TOOK MANY BOOKS WITH ME FOR READING THAT WAS MY TARGET AND THE OTHER WHAT I LOVE ON MOUNTAINS WAS TRACKING, AS I DON’T GET TIME IN MY CITY LAHORE WHICH IS FULL OF WORKS AND WORKS. BUT KHURRAM AND HIS FAMILY HAD SOME DIFFERENT THOUGHTS FOR ENJOYMENT WHICH WAS TOTALLY OPPOSITE FROM ME THAT WAS LESSER STAY IN HOTEL AND EXPLORE MARKETS AND CROWD PLACES AND YES ONLY ON CAR BY DRIVING, EATING, SHOPPING AND SLEEPING. SO AT EVERY DAY HE TOOK US TO SOME PLACE LIKE THAT. MY HABIT OF EXPLORING, TRACKING, WALKING, RIDING AND TOURING AND PICNIC ON BEAUTIFUL PLACES IS ALL DUE TO MY BELOVED FATHER FROM CHILD HOOD HE TOOK US TO BEAUTIFUL PLACES AND AFTER REACH WE LESSER DO THE THINGS WE DO IN CITY. ONE MORNING I TOOK KHURRAM AND FAMILY FOR ‘CHILD TRACKING’ "THE PIPE LINE TO AYUBIA" WHICH HAS BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND WAYS, AND 95% OF WALK IS ON SAME LEVEL, SO ITS CHILD WALK.

     

AND AFTER 4KM WALK IN PURE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND PURE COOL AIR IT ENDS TO AYUBIA MOUNTAINS WHICH THEMSELVES ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL AND FANTASTIC VIEWS AND YES ALSO HAVE CROWD FOR CHAIRLIFT AND DIFFERENT FUNS. MONKEY LOVE TO BE THERE TO EAT WHAT HUMANS EAT THERE TASTE BUDS SEEMS THERE 100% SAME LIKE HUMANS. I ALSO SAW FEW MONKEYS IN HOTEL EATING LAYS AND NESTLE JUICES (CHECK THEIR DETAIL FUNNY PICS IN DONGA GALI TOUR PHOTO ALBUM)

          

BUT I EXTREMELY REGRET THAT BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY AND PEACEFUL WALK FOR WHICH PEOPLE CAME FROM SO FAR EVEN FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND ALSO WE SAW CHILDREN THERE, GOT PUNISHMENT FOR KHURRAM AND ALL THE WAY HE WAS COUNTING STEPS LEFT TO REACH. ANYHOW I AND MY WIFE ENJOYED A LOT!!

NEXT DAY WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YESTERDAY ENJOYMENT I MADE THE PLAN TO COVER THE PEAK OF MUKSHPURI MOUNTAIN, YES THE TOP. I ALREADY GOT THE INFORMATION, THE GUIDE THERE WAS SAYING ITS EASY, BUT MY OLD TRACKING EXPERIENCE KNOW TO TRAVEL TO TOP PEAK OF ANY MOUNTAIN NEEDS GUDS AND EFFORT, AS IN MY WORDS "BEAUTY ALWAYS HIDDEN IN EFFORT AND EXTREME DESIRE–HASAN AZHAR" SO ME AND WIFE WAS READY WITH GUIDE TO TRAVEL, WE TOOK 2 HORSES TO ENJOY THE HORSES TILL WE CAN RIDE ON MOUNTAIN AND OTHER TIME ENJOY TRACKING. THIS TIME ALSO BY THE EXPERIENCE OF YESTERDAY I DIDN’T EVEN OFFER TO KHURRAM JUST TOLD HIM I AM GOING TO PEAK OF MOUNTAIN, AND ACCORDING TO HIS STYLE OF FUN GAVE THE KEYS OF CAR, THAT HE GO WHERE EVER HE LIKE. BUT WHEN I WAS JUST GOING TO LOCK MY ROOM I HEARD THE VOICE "I ALSO WANT TO GO–THAT WAS KHURRAM GOT UP FROM BED, SOME ORDER" I SAID REALLY OK, I WILL BE GLAD BUT THIS TIME DON’T ANGRY WITH ME, GO ON YOUR OWN DECISION. THEN HE ASK ME MANY QUESTIONS FOR THIS AREA AND I JUST TOLD I CAME FIRST TIME, YOU ARE COMING FROM SO LONG.

SOON WE WAS ON 4 HORSES, AND ME AND WIFE ON FRONT RIDING ON HORSES, FROM BEHIND I WAS LISTENING THE QUESTIONS TO OUR GUIDE SAME LIKE BEFORE "THAT HOW MUCH TIME LEFT….ETC". AFTER SOME TIME I HEAR ONE SCREAM OF KHURRAM WIFE AND MY GUIDE TOLD ME SHE FALL FROM HORSE AS VERY MUCH AFRAID AND TRYING TO GUIDE THE GUIDE. THAT’S WHAT I ALWAYS SAYS "NEVER NEVER EVER GUIDE YOUR GUIDE ON MOUNTAINS, HAIR DRESSER WHEN STARTED WORKING AND DOCTOR WHEN YOU TOLD ABOUT YOUR ILLNESS, BECAUSE THE CONSEQUENCES WILL BE BRUTAL" ANYHOW THERE WAS NOT ANYTHING FATAL IT WAS JUST SLIP TO MUD. AND THEN THEY DECIDED TO GO BACK. I REGRET FOR THAT, BUT THAT WAS HIS OWN DECISION TO GO WITH US. THE REAL TRACKING WAS EVEN NOT STARTED. WE DONE THE LITTLE PICNIC THERE WITH KHURRAM AND FAMILY BEFORE THEY BACK, WITH TEA AND SOME SNACKS TAKEN BY US, AS WE WAS GOING WITH FULL PREPARATION. WHEN ME AND WIFE REACHED MORE FURTHER JUST NEAR TO TOP WE SAW ABOUT 15 LADIES THERE CAME FROM SOME UNIVERSITY WITH THEIR TEACHER AND ASKING HIM TO TAKE US ON MOUNTAIN TOP. I THINK WHEN THERE IS WILL THERE IS WAY AND SPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS EXTREME DESIRE.

AND WHEN WE REACH TO TOP OF MUKSHPURI BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN, ITS JUST LIKE WE CAME OUT OF WORLD, WE FORGOT ALL THE WAY ABOUT 2 HOURS UP TRACKING IN JUNGLE AND ENJOYMENT RIDING ON HORSES. IT WAS MORE THAN WOW! IT WAS JUST AMAZING, OUT OF WORDS, JUST OUT OF WORLD!!! CANNOT COME THE FEELINGS AND COMPLETE VIEWS IN PICTURES. (FOR MORE PICTURES CHECK ALBUM).

FROM THAT PLANES ON THE TOP OF MOUNTAIN WE SAW THE OTHER MOUNTAINS EITHER DOWN TO US OR LEVEL OR JUST LIKE LITTLE ABOVE. WE SPEND ABOUT 1 HOUR THERE BUT CANNOT FORGET THE BEAUTY FOR WHOLE LIFE. THAT EXPERIENCE OF BEAUTY MAKE ME LATER PURCHASE CAMP WHILE COMING BACK. NEXT TIME I WILL DO CAMPING INSHALLAH, WEATHER THIS SITE OR OTHER BEAUTIFUL SITE.

ON NEXT DAY WAS OUR PLAN FOR VISITING MALL RD, THE MOST CROWDED PLACE BUT BROTHER#1 GOT SOME OTHER ORDER TO CHANGE THE PLAN, ANYHOW LATER HE AGREE WE GO ACCORDING TO PLAN AND NEXT DAY WE GO WHEREVER BROTHER#1 SAY. 

BUT NEXT DAY PLAN CHANGE FOR GOOD, DUE TO GOING TO SHOPPING PLACES EVERYDAY WITH BROTHER#1 (MY SHOPPING IS IN LATEST PURCHASES), WE DON’T KNOW OUR POCKETS ARE ALREADY GOING TO EMPTY, WE SPEND ABOUT RS 40,000 SO FAST, KNOW ONE NOTICE, SO THE PLAN CHANGE GOOD THIS TIME BY BROTHER # 1 THAT WE GO BACK TO ISLAMABAD AND ENJOY THERE RAWAL DAM, FAISAL MOSQUE AND PEER SOHAWA AND THEN TO LAHORE. BUT AGAIN THAT REGULAR ORDER CAME AND HE CHANGE TO STAY FOR SOME TIME IN HIS WIFE NANI HOUSE IN ISLAMABAD, SO AFTER TEA IN RAWAL DAM WE GO TO KHURRAM RELATIVE HOUSE AND HIS THAT SHORT TIME GOT FINISH IN ABOUT 6 HOURS, BUT I SAID SORRY AND MOVE TO MY OWN AND MAKE THE TOUR BEST ON MY SIDE. VISITED FAISAL MOSQUE AND THEN TO MOST ROMANTIC PLACE IN PAKISTAN "PEER SOHAWA", I ENJOY THE SUN SET TIME THERE AND BEAUTIFUL NIGHT. THE PLACE IS OUT OF WORDS YOU SEE WHOLE LIGHTING CITY ISLAMABAD AT ITS BEST WITH MOUNTAIN TOP TASTY DISHES OF RESTAURANT "THE MONAL" AND PEACE OF MIND WITH PURE AIR; THE BEAUTY CANNOT COME INTO PHOTOS SO I JUST TRIED ONE AND THEN NOT TAKE ANY PHOTO, EVEN I STAYED THERE FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS INCLUDING SOME TIME IN "DAMN-E-KOH" ALSO VERY BEAUTIFUL SAME LIKE THAT, AND STILL NOT LIKE TO GO BUT BROTHER # 1 WAS WAITING AND I ALREADY TOOK EXTRA TIME.

AND WE GO TO LAHORE WITHOUT ANY FURTHER CHANGING OF PLAN AND ORDER. ALHUMDULILAH

I GOT THE CALL FROM GAPO (GHAZANFAR) FOR HIS CAR GOT OUT OF ORDER. SO DECIDED TO TAKE HIS FAMILY TO SAHIWAL IN HIS OTHER CAR (HIS BROTHER HASAN CAR). THE PLAN WAS TO DROP THE FAMILY AT SAHIWAL HOME AND COME BACK TO LAHORE IN SAME TIME, MEANS WITHOUT ANY STOP IN SAHIWAL.

 

ALL THE WAY WE TALKING ABOUT DIFFERENT THINGS LIKE FAMILY, POLITICS ETC AND THIS TIME IS SPECIAL BECAUSE IT HAPPEN AFTER LONG TIME OF UNIVERSITY LIFE AND BECHALOR LIFE. ALL THE TRAVELING WAS SMOOTH, HAPPY AND GOOD.

 

SAME DAY ALSO FRIENDS CAME FOR MEETING EID AND SITTING TOGETHER. SO DAY WAS GOOD!!

IN 2005 WHEN I VISITED HOLY GRAVE OF ‘HAZRAT SADD-BIN-ABI-WAQAS (R.A. ALLAH BLESS)’ IN GUANGZHOU-CHINA, IT WAS VERY HARD FOR MY MIND TO ACCEPT THAT IN THOSE DAYS ABOUT 1500 YEARS BEFORE HOW HE TRAVEL SOFAR FROM SAUDI ARABIA TO HERE. WHERE EVEN NOW TRAVELING IS NOT SO EASY SOME TIMES AND LANGUAGE IS STILL PROBLEM.

HE (R.A. ALLAH BLESS) CAME THERE AND PREACH ISLAM AND ALSO MANY OTHER SAHABA (GREAT MUSLIMS) TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD INCLUDING PAKISTAN, FOR THAT WE ARE MUSLIMS AND GOT THE LIFE.

AFTER FORGETTING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PREACHING ISLAM FOR MANY YEARS AGAIN ABOUT 50 YEARS BEFORE, THE MUSLIM LEARNING+PREACHING STARTED.  BUT WE CANNOT 0.000000000…1% EQUAL TO SAHABA (GREAT MUSLIMS) BUT TRYING TO BE GOOD MUSLIMS, AS THIS IS RESPONSIBILITY WHICH WILL BE MAY ASK IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT BY NON-MUSLIMS IF ISLAM NOT KNOCK THEIR DOOR, WHICH IS EVERY MUSLIM RESPONSIBILITY (ALLAH LET US KNOW THE IMPORTANCE).

TOUR TO SAHIWAL
MARRIAGE OF DEAR FRIEND GAPO (GHAZANFAR ALI) 29Dec06

 

My business is fortunately is all about traveling. Traveling to different new cities is a normal thing, so as my accidents (if I am driving). But traveling for business and traveling on vacation has a big difference.

 

Last time in Bangkok, it was my 2nd tour, but I learned that difference is much. Last time I came on vacations with family but this time was pure business. All extra time I stayed in hotel working and worrying about business, there was big big difference comparing to last time, even the city was same. But paradigms always difference in vocational trips and business trips.

 

Anyway back to Sahiwal. This was my 2nd tour to this beautiful city. The city is made by people live there, their attitudes and their priorities. So, that’s why I said beautiful. The 1st time I came there to my same friend ‘Ghazanfar (nick Gapo)’ and ‘Yaqoob (nick Malik)’. And that tour gave wafting positive change to my life full of worries sometimes. Same was this time, the tour again was wonderful than my expectations. So, I also stayed night.

 

Me and ‘brother # 1 Khurram’ move together directly from business exhibition in Lahore to Sahiwal. By the new improve road we just reach in 2 hours on normal speed (100~120km/hr). By the blessing of ALLAH we reach on time on my very good brother ceremony ‘gapo’. The ‘nikkah’ was just happened, so we hugged and prayed for good marriage life. The marriage ceremony was some different from Lahore, but very good ceremony.

 

After he&his family took the bride to home as per our culture. Malik took us to night tour of city. Here the enjoyment, refreshment and one adventure comes:

 

• First ‘me’, ‘Malik’, ‘brother#1’ and Malik best friend ‘Aqeel’ move to gapo home, where he just reach with his new life partner. He came to us in guests’ room for final good-bye as we decided to leave back to Lahore.

 

• But the plan change by the excitement of our Sahiwal arrival, Malik and his one of best friend there ‘Aqeel’ was not at all interested to let us leave back until we have a night tour. So night tour started by all four of us, so this time excited and heartily guide was Aqeel.

 

• First he took us to place where 5 important roads meet together at one place; he said it may the only place in whole Pakistan. I name it 5A. We all laugh.

 

• Now we all were excited by Aqeel excitement with Malik great hosting and happiness. Then Aqeel took us to church road, here I mention from Lahore to till now the car was drive by brother # 1. Aqeel told us this is best road in Pakistan. Then with excitement he started counting WHY?
1. Pakistan best sweet ‘barfi’ shop is here.
2. Big church also on same road
3. Petrol pump is also here
4. Biggest Sahiwal market of food also comes from this road
5. And the list goes on…..
6. yes Aqeel home also there…lol

 

• By tasting different sweets one by one our stomach really got like pregnant woman. Every time we say him stop and he took another variety of sweet. By our eating & watching our tummies was really making him happy and glad. We already also done the good dinner at marriage ceremony. But that’s the culture of ‘Punjab Province’ to entertain their guests by their specialties which are always food.

 

• Now when we at last said ‘STOP PLEASE, we will BLAST now’. He said to Malik, ‘how we can let them go without eating the best fish of Sahiwal’. ‘WHAT!! Please please…we have no space, we already looks like baby inside us…lol’ But the car was now going to best fish shop, and I thank GOD the shop just got close. But Aqeel got one other master blaster plan. He said now we should go for eating best ‘pokora (fried food)’ shop. So I loosed hope for saying stop. And then we eat pokaras.

 

• Meanwhile, Malik and Aqeel was still not satisfy by their hosting, so they decided we will go to 2nd best shop of fish and pack it for them. Plenty of sweets (especially barfi) was also they packed and put in our car. So now we were at fish shop, here we also learned the new Punjabi (local language) term in our vocabulary ‘kuti-cheeka’ it means ‘harsh competition’. I am sorry I will not translate it to its literal meaning as it is really funny. We all laughed there when fish shop owner use this word while telling the fish competition in Sahiwal. Me and Khurram laughed on load all the way back to Lahore in morning on this amazing Punjabi term.

 

• Anyway they pack the fish in good quantity and we came home of Malik. The plan was after ‘ESHA Prayer (night prayer)’ we will leave for Lahore. But when we entered the room they arrange for us in malik house instantly the plan change to early morning. The room was heated and mattresses were place all over in room, all arrangements was done by malik younger brother nick given by us ‘chota malik (younger malik). AND I GOT THE BEST SWEET SLEEP IN MY LAST 4 MONTHS. BIG THANKS TO AQEEL, MALIK & CHOTA MALIK. We slept after eating the fish with special sauce, really very tasty.

 

• At morning after tasty breakfast from malik home we said good-buy and back to cold blooded fast city (comparing to sahiwal) to our city Lahore. While we were coming back I was really taking care of speed limits even the time was short as it was working day. But police men still stopped us. Shortly, “he tried to be over smart and at his statement ‘I am everything’ on my asking who is your incharge, made me angry” and I then replied ‘ok, if you are everything, then now I will show you what I am’ I got really angry on him. He was also not showing the camera at site that we really broke the speed rule, more shortly, after some harsh words and statements from me made him baffled. By the blessing of ALLAH I don’t afraid from where I think I am right. Anyway I called gapo & malik one of best friend who is captain is Pak. Army name ‘Meer’ who was also at marriage ceremony.

After Meer talk with Police officer he (police officer) got from ‘everything’ to ‘po (police officer)’. And we peacefully continued the journey without giving any penny to him.

My rule & principal is simple, “No need to brake rules (as they are for civilians safety), but if you brake then punishment is right, take it as learning for future, other wise not a penny illegally (who so ever in front)! Khurram (brother # 1) knows me from years, but still he got amaze on how I am firm on my principles, and don’t afraid who so ever, who so ever!!

 

 

In Muslim “WHO AFRAID FROM ALLAH; WORLD AFRAID FROM HIM”

 

 

In the end I will say from my heart I thank ALLAH for bless me with such great friends. No doubt its big blessing. It’s like my blood, cannot live without them, in other words I am living because of there love and care.

 

 

China (7thJuly06 ~ 5thSept06) (About 2 Months)

 

It’s hard to category China now in ‘travel’. As it’s now like my 2nd hometown. This trip was most ever tough and also very very enjoyable trip of life sofar. This was the 4th trip to China. I came from Bangkok (Thailand) to Kumming, where I got very good Muslim lady sister name Halima. She approaches me as guide when I came out from International Arrivals. It was my good idea to short tour kumming for few hours till my next flight to my 2nd home in China – CQ (Chongqing).
 
She took me to Halal Muslim Restaurant for lunch, then to Museum and finally to popular special tea house of Kumming. Kumming is capital of Ynan province and this province is popular for great tea. Then she took me back to airport for flight to Chongqing. Here I welcome by my old very good friend Mr. Wang (Mr. Bruce). And new life starts……
 
• Business Toughness

Business toughness was most this time also said by business friends there. Working all day long and huff at night. Dealing with Chinese is really an art; Dollars are everything, more than anything. I really learned lot and made same business approach in Pakistan;

RULE #1: 100% full advance payment, no cheqs so no any ambiguities and risks
RULE #2: No friends in business about money keep good relation but when money comes father is no father.
RULE #3: Turn anytime for money (that I never like and never made in my life)

 

• 7 Great Rules of my Father

China experience and my father style of business made me some good business man. Pakistan business style is crab! Which is ‘hit try run back forth’ method; means cry all the time.
Following what runs in my father’s blood and World witness his greatness every where.  Even I saw opponents’ guarantee his honesty and worthy reliable guidance.

1. BUSINESS IS FOR PROFIT ; FOR MONEY
2. BETTER NO MONEY THAN BAD REPUTE
3. BETTER SLOW AND STUDY THAN “FAST & FINISH”
4. THINK ALWAYS LONG TERM
5. LET CUSTOMERS ALWAYS HAVE SWEET DREAM; BY DOING STEP AHEAD FROM THEIR EXPECTATIONS AND DEMANDS. (THIS IS 1 STEP AHEAD APPROACH BY  (‘CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT’)
6. NO NEED OF DOING BUSINESS WITHOUT HONESTY, DISCIPLINE & HARD WORKING.
7. IN WORK BE A WORKER ; NO LUXURIOUSNESS
8. GO FOR GREATNESS IN BUSINESS THAN MONEY; AND MONEY WILL COME ITSELF TOO!

 

• Office next step development

Tired from triple dimensions work simultaneously in China whenever I come, as always alone in meetings, works and plannings. In 3rd (previous) tour I took engineer from Pakistan, no doubt he worked well but until I was there, up on him. The mishaps came after my departure.
So this time I decided to hire Chinese staff. Office development I done very easily by help of my Chinese good friend.  But selecting engineer and secretary was important and crucial.

 

• Staff Hiring

After few interviews I got the good engineer but hiring good trustable secretary was most important. Criterion was simple: honesty, experience and hard working. So I gave the add in news paper, I wrote the 7 years atleast experience as all my friends told me if you will not mention experience there will be a long queue of applicants which will consume your very long time. English and some other requirements like good coordination skill I also mentioned in advertisement. I published that in Sunday most selling newspaper in City, popular for job advertisements.

 

• Interviewing preparation and result

As I gave the advertisement in most selling news-paper, so proactively I done the preparations for interview date, like office outlook, forms, result sheets etc. Me and my friends were expecting many candidates so I made two rooms for simultaneous interviewing. I even call more Muslim friends that all works should be done smoothly. I even told them about dressing as I want to give professional foreign company look.
With my great Muslim friends everything was done beautifully, all ready at morning for the first bell, forms was copied in numbers, check sheets was ready for telephone calls.

So, how many candidates you are thinking approach me in world highest population country (more than billion) Better don’t think because whatever you will think will be 100% wrong.

NOT A SINGLE CANDIDATE APPROACHED/NOT A SINGLE APPLICANT CALLED. And we got a full fledge back. Now you will say WHY?
There was number of reasons needs full one blog for that. Shortly I really enjoy such case studies where I work hard and get nothing, I never panic and take responsibility, believe in ALLAH and eventually get more than best. Even this time!

 

• The back-bone break day!

I use ‘back-bone break day’ term as ‘hardest than thought’ day, when you stuck and start cracking in multi important and urgent works samisustaenously and your all skills start getting out of control like your works. That’s what happened that day….
